    1. Overview

The generator should be installed horizontally on the upper part of the tank wall, not on the top of the tank. When the cover plate is installed, it is not suitable for side installation. When used in external floating roof tanks, it should be installed on the foam shroud at the top of the tank.

     

     
    When installing the generator, the opening in the tank wall should ensure that there is enough space in the upper part of the tank, and the liquid level of the stored liquid should be lower than the inlet of the generator, and should be below the storage liquid level line, so as not to affect the foam quality and foam formation, and prevent the liquid from flowing out of the generator port.

    1. The inlet calibration working pressure of the air foam generator is 0.5Mpa, and it can also be used within the pressure range of 0.3-0.5Mpa, but the mixing amount and foam amount change accordingly.

    2. The water pump shall be equipped with PH32 and PH64 air foam mixers to deliver air foam liquid in proportion.

    3. This generator is equipped with 3% type and 6% type ordinary air foam liquid.

    4. In order to prevent the gas in the flammable liquid storage tank from evaporating and leaking, the sealing glass must be installed at the outlet end of the shell. The glass is engraved with fragile cracks on one side, and the mixed liquid flow pressure can be broken when it is 0.1-0.2Mpa. The frangible crack should be installed with one side facing the direction of the discharge port.

    5. The guide plate is installed on the inner wall of the storage tank to ensure that the foam tank wall drops and smoothly covers the burning liquid surface to improve the fire extinguishing effect.

    6. The pore size of the inlet pipe of the air foam generator shall not be less than the size specified in D.

     

     

    6. installation and maintenance

     

    1. There is a product label on the air foam generator, indicating the product name, model, specification, manufacturing date and factory name. Before installation, the foam nozzle group shall be prepared by the user according to the product model with reference to the dimensions listed in Figure 2 and Table 3.
